The Ugly: Not Enough Moves Made

I’m actually starting to think that Thomas Dimitroff is just a bad G.M. just because of his negotiating skills. The names that have popped up who were reportedly “on the Falcons radar” have almost always never actually signed with the team.

These names include:

  • Brian Orakpo
  • Justin Forsett
  • Julius Thomas
  • Niles Paul
  • Pretty much every other Tight End that was on the market
  • Derrick Morgan

And with the failure to sign such players, the Atlanta Falcons still have over 26 million dollars in cap space…

"“Given the moves they did make, the Falcons still have a ton of cap space. As of now, they have $24.6 million in cap space, 6th highest in the NFL.” TheFalcoholic.com"

What to do with so much money when the majority of impact free agents are off the market….
