Atlanta Falcons: Three Positions That Still Need Help

We’re pretty sure that Dwight Lowery, who is letting free agency “play itself out,” won’t be back with the Atlanta Falcons in 2015, because if the team wanted him they already would’ve made the move.

Free safety may be the biggest problem for the Falcons right now. There is no true starter at the position; it consists of Kemal Ishmael (who by the way is a better fit at strong safety), Dezmen Southward and Charles Godrey…
Many are still uncertain what the plan is here. There really isn’t much help through the draft for free safeties, but free agency may be a route they want to take.
Eight year vet Laron Landry was cut by the Colts recently and has a lot of experience at the position. Usama Young is coming off of an injury season, but he was regarded as a quality starter before the ACL Tear.
Either way, Dimitroff needs to address this position sooner or later. Time is running out, and the Falcons don’t have a billion draft picks to use on April 30th.
