5 Questions with Dante Fowler Jr.
Dante Fowler is on the highest regarded pass rushers in the 2015 NFL Draft. As D. Orlando Ledbetter of AJC.com writes, Fowler answers five questions. Ledbetter also takes a look at what other people are saying about the prospect.
"“With the NFL draft set for April 30 through May 2, each morning we’ll take a look at a player on the Falcons’ draft board .Today we’ll look at Florida defensive end Dante Fowler Jr., who was recruited by Falcons coach Dan Quinn, while he was the defensive coordinator.”"
Bud Dupree at No. 8?
Could defensive end Alvin Dupree be a good fit for the Falcons with the eighth overall pick? Scott Carasik of Bleacher Report takes a look at the idea.
"“The two best fits—Florida’s Dante Fowler and Clemson’s Vic Beasley—will likely be gone by the time the Falcons pick. That leaves Kentucky’s BudDupree as the best fit for the No. 8 pick.Dupree has three things that really make him stand out from the rest of the candidates for the eighth overall selection.”"
Nick Marshall an option for Falcons?
Nick Marshall is one of the most intriguing prospects in this year’s draft. Is he a cornerback, quarterback or safety? He has experience at all three, but where would he fit in the NFL? And how could the Falcons get the best of his skill set? This too comes from Scott Carasik of Bleacher Report. Take a look.
"“Nick Marshall is someone who fits the profile of a perfect developmental cornerback for a team like the Atlanta Falcons. Head coach Dan Quinn has a tendency to develop players who may not have been the best at their position in college into high-level players for his team.”"
