We are eagerly awaiting the release of the 2015 NFL regular season schedule. Who should the Atlanta Falcons face in their home opener?

As ever, the Falcons will host the Carolina Panthers, New Orleans Saints and Tampa Bay Buccaneers in divisional contests.

Outside of the division, the Falcons will face Philadelphia, Indianapolis, Washington, Minnesota and Houston at home. Would any of these games be worthy of the home opener?

Of course, a division game would make a lot of sense.

These games are the most important. Win your division games and you give yourself a great shot at earning a home game in the playoffs. Having said that, the Falcons finished with a division-best 5-1 record inside the division, but finished third.

That was because they only won one game outside of the division.

Could the Falcons open the season against the team that ended their 2014 season in the Panthers? Carolina are the team to beat right now, and would pose a tough test for the Dirty Birds right off the bat.

Maybe it will be one of the AFC’s top teams in the Indianapolis Colts. Andrew Luck is an emerging star at quarterback and led their offense to No. 1 in passing yards last year.

Perhaps it will be Philadelphia. The Eagles have had a busy offseason. On one side, they lost Nick Foles, LeSean McCoy and Jeremy Maclin. On the other, they signed DeMarco Murray, Sam Bradford and… Tim Tebow.

So who do you think the Falcons should face in their home opener? Take your vote and let us know below in the comments.
