Falcons Draft 2015: Fans React to Jalen Collins Pick on Twitter

The Atlanta Falcons’ pick is in, and they have selected CB Jalen Collins with their second draft choice. Here are your reactions to the Falcons’ first pick of the 2015 NFL Draft.
Collins has good size at 6’1″, 203 pounds and is very quick. He becomes the latest addition to Dan Quinn’s rebuilding defense. Along with Vic Beasley, who was drafted in the first round, can the Falcons’ pass defense rebound in 2015?
Atlanta needs to improve a number of areas on their roster if they are to have any chance of winning the NFC South. Have they done so?
Here is some of the reaction from Twitter:
With the 42nd pick in the 2015 NFL Draft, the Atlanta Falcons select Jalen Collins, CB. LSU -- athletic with length & speed. 1st rd talent.

This is Dan Quinn getting the kind of defensive back he covets. Big, terrific athlete, physical guy.

Hopefully Collins ended up better than the last corner from LSU that the Falcons drafted. Good thing Collins is nothing like Chevis Jackson.

With Desmond Trufant, Jalen Collins gives Falcons strong young CB corps if Robert Alford progresses.

#Reach for the Falcons. Not saying I hate it. Jalen Collins good, but not 2nd round good. Still need to address DE/OT
— Michael Collins (@MCFanSided) May 2, 2015
Collins fits scheme very well. And now #Falcons won’t be putting a 4th rd pick on field as a starter. So that’s good.

Desmond Trufant, Robert Alford & Jalen Collins at CB is a promising foundation for new Falcons HC Dan Quinn and his defense.

Jalen Collins is a 6-foot-1 corner, someone Dan Quinn could really get to do great things for the #Falcons.

The #Falcons select #LSU CB Jalen Collins at No. 42. Loooong corner

The reaction is generally pretty good. A couple of people believe it’s a reach, but most seem to agree that this is another good piece to Dan Quinn’s defense.
Along with Desmond Trufant, the Falcons are looking solid at cornerback. Also with an elite pass rusher in Vic Beasley being drafted in the first round, it’s looking a little brighter on defense for Atlanta.
Is he the man to help the Falcons lift themselves off the bottom of the defensive rankings in 2015?
What do you think? A good addition or a reach?
