NFL Draft 2015: Atlanta Falcons Updated Draft Order

With the second day of the 2015 NFL Draft finished, we can now look ahead to what remains on day three. When will the Atlanta Falcons hit the clock in each round?

A huge weight feels like it has been lifted off the city of Atlanta, as the Falcons have found themselves a pass rusher in Vic Beasley. They followed this up with the selections of cornerback Jalen Collins and running back Tevin Coleman — it really has been a great draft for Falcons up to this point.

The move they most wanted was the Beasley selection on Thursday night, but GM Thomas Dimitroff has really backed it up well. The pass defense is looking a lot healthier, and now the Falcons have their workhorse back.

The best teams find players in the mid-rounds who go unnoticed that go onto become regular starters, or even stars in the team.

Tom Brady, Richard Sherman and Russell Wilson are all examples of players who weren’t selected on day one but have gone on to make some noise in the NFL. I could probably list examples all day.

So who will the Falcons take on day three?

Here is a list of the picks they own, barring any trades, which is always possible with Thomas Dimitroff.

With Beasley, Collins and Coleman selected, where should the Falcons turn in the fourth round and beyond?

Maybe Dimitroff will further strengthen the offense, or maybe he will look for a safety. This is the time where sleepers can be found.

A few names to watch out for are inside linebacker Mike Hull and wide receiver Darren Waller, these are two guys who could slip further and add good value late on.

It’s impossible to know for sure, but it’s going to be interesting to find out. Stay tuned here at Blogging Dirty as we will have plenty of reaction immediately following the Falcons’ pick.
