Eric Lefeld is an interesting prospect. At 6’6 310 lbs, he has the size to play at offensive tackle in the NFL. But many question his strength and performance in the game.
Lefeld allowed 7.5 sacks in 2014, and failed to block power rushers. He has the footwork and size, but doesn’t have strength. Here is what NFL.com had to say about him.
"“Lefeld looks the part, with his confident kick-slide and technically sound hands, but lack of functional strength and length is a concern. With coaching, Lefeld could play with better leverage, but functional power will continue to get him knocked off balance.” NFL.com"
By the way, strength is something that a team can fix. This is why Lefeld will make the roster.
Prediction: Lefeld will make the 53 man roster
