2. New Orleans Saints

Despite massively underachieving in 2014, New Orleans still finished first in the NFL for total offense. Drew Brees appeared to be on the decline, so they say, but he was still tied with Ben Roethlisberger for No. 1 in passing yards.

But then that trade happened which sent the Saints’ best receiving option to Seattle (as if they needed another playmaker). A Saints offense sans Jimmy Graham drops a little in my book.

I fully expect this offense to be explosive like ever, largely due to the man under center.

The ground game looks strong with Mark Ingram and C.J. Spiller. Ingram rushed for 964 yards and nine touchdowns last year, and that number would have been higher had he not missed three games through injury.

Spiller was a solid pickup in free agency. He was hit with injuries last season, but has rushed 668 times for 3,321 yards and 12 scores in his five-year career. He will be a good complement to Ingram in the backfield.

Khiry Robinson could play a role too, especially if there is an injury to one of the top-two. Robinson only carried the football 76 times in 2014, but he posted 362 yards and three touchdowns.

New Orleans will finish high up in the rankings for most offensive categories once again, but the loss of Graham and an older Brees will set them back a little.
