The next phase of the Atlanta Falcons’ offseason program gets underway today with the beginning of mandatory minicamp. The minicamp runs for three days until Thursday and is open for the public to attend.

Planning to attend this week? The practices take place at 4400 Falcon Parkway, at the Falcons’ practice facility in Flowery Branch. Here are the dates and times of each practice, per Jay Adams of AtlantaFalcons.com.

Practice begins at 1:30 p.m.

Wednesday, June 17
Gates open at 12:00 p.m.
Practice begins at 1:30 p.m.

Thursday, June 18
Gates open at 10:30 a.m.
Practice begins at 11:30 a.m.

There will also be an event for children under 17 on Wednesday. Adams wrote:

"Children 17 and under are invited to attend Kid’s Day at minicamp on Wednesday, June 17, which will include giveaways, prizes, and appearances by Atlanta Falcons Cheerleaders and Freddie Falcon."

The minicamp will be a great way to get a glimpse into Dan Quinn’s vision of the 2015 Atlanta Falcons. There is light at the end of the offseason tunnel and the football season isn’t too far away, but this minicamp can get you your football fix until training camp begins.

Interesting battles to look out for will be the competition between Devonta Freeman and Tevin Coleman to start at running back, as well as the future of the offensive line with the release of Sam Baker.

Will you be attending minicamp?
