This was a much more difficult decision to make than I had first expected. With that said, I am sticking with my gut and picking 2015 first round pick, Vic Beasley to build a franchise around. Beasley is the pass rusher that the Falcons have desperately missed since the departure of John Abraham and will be an intricate piece for the Falcons in 2015.

Part of me wanted to pick either running back, Tevin Coleman or wide receiver, Justin Hardy, but I couldn’t do it. Both of those positions are positions that can easily be replaced in either free agency or the draft. But, a defensive end with the capabilities of Beasley aren’t something you can just get if you need it.

While Coleman or Hardy may turn out to have better careers than Beasley, I simply cannot pick them. Beasley can put his hand in the dirt or stand up and be equally as successful which will be perfect for Dan Quinn’s scheme.

this competes my team. Agree? disagree?
