Fantasy Football: Atlanta Falcons’ Tevin Coleman in NFL.com’s top 10 sleepers

We are moving rapidly towards the new fantasy football season, which means you should be on the lookout for sleepers who can make the difference to your team.

Atlanta Falcons fans, look no further than our very own Tevin Coleman. Selected in the third round of the 2015 NFL Draft, Coleman is expected to enhance a run game in need of an upgrade.

You can find an excellent ‘draft kit’ on NFL.com with a lot of expert opinions on players to take and avoid. Among those lists, analysts picked their top ten sleepers for 2015.

RELATED: Why Tevin Coleman is a fantasy sleeper

The four experts were Michael Fabiano, Marcas Grant, Alex Gelhar and James Koh. All four selected Coleman amongst their top 10 sleepers.

Fabiano put Coleman at No. 1; Grant at No. 10; Gelhar at No. 8; Koh at No. 4. NFL media writer Adam Rank wrote the following about the rookie back:

"“Man, I wanted this to be Devonta Freeman. But Coleman could be the every-down back in Kyle Shanahan’s offense. Which is a wonderful spot to be in. Although, Devonta Freeman said he won’t go down without a fight. So how about this: the top RB on the Falcons depth chart is the sleeper. For the record, Freeman opened OTAs as the top guy.”"

My expectation is for Coleman to win the battle with Freeman to be the leading back for the Falcons, although the latter is determined to make the No. 1 spot his.

If Freeman is the man, he himself could be a fantasy sleeper. For now, we are assuming it’s the rookie who wins out the battle in training camp.

Dave Richard, senior fantasy writer of CBS Sports, agrees and believes you shouldn’t wait beyond Round 5 or 6 to pickup Coleman.

"“Coleman is the better back of the two. I’d go so far as to say he’s in the mix as a low-end No. 2 Fantasy running back in his spot with the Falcons. I wouldn’t rule out 250 carries for him, and I wouldn’t wait longer than Round 5 or 6 to take a chance on him.”"

It’s nice to see a Falcon get some love, and rightfully so. Coleman has the potential to become an excellent back in the NFL and will play an important role on offense for Atlanta moving forward.

What do you think, Falcons fans? Will you be aiming to draft Coleman to your team this season?
