Matthews will play on Ryan’s blind side while Ryan Schraeder will start on his right side. Joe Hawley has been a very solid player for the Falcons after replacing long time center Todd McClure but is recovering from a season-ending knee injury he suffered against the Minnesota Vikings in 2014.
This line should be a much better unit than in recent past and will hopefully create a lot of running lanes and keep Ryan upright more times than not. The offensive line is still a work in progress, but the Falcons have made strides to improve this unit and have done a nice job of doing so for 2015 and beyond.
