Vic Beasley has one job with the Falcons. Rush the quarterback. So far, that is exactly what he has done, and he has done it well. Beasley has had some bumps in the road just like any rookie will, but has overcome them and made his presence known. Falcons linebacker O’brien Schofield called Beasley, “the real deal.”
Beasley is battling the stomach bug and might not play tonight, but if he does you can expect him to make a couple of nice plays on defense.
