The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have done a good job of avoiding major injury during training camp, but finally had a casualty. Right tackle Demar Dotson is expected to miss as much as 10 weeks with a MCL injury. Best case scenario is that Dotson could return by week three, with the worst case scenario being a return in week seven.
After the injury to Dotson, the Buccaneers signed Gosder Cherilus to a two-year deal in order to help shore up an already shaky offensive line, but is still a huge loss. Dotson is a very solid player for Tampa Bay and he will be greatly missed until he returns.
