Nick Williams is making a strong case for a roster spot, but will the Falcons keep seven wide receivers in 2015? If you had to pick a seventh guy, Williams would likely be the pick. He has had three solid games and is proving that he can be a reliable target.
The soon to be 25-year-old made his NFL debut while a member of the Washington Redskins and caught a two-point-conversion. Hey, sounds good enough to me. If Williams has another strong showing and goes for more than 50 yards in game four, then I don’t see why not.
Could Williams secure a practice squad spot if not chosen to be on the 53-man roster? It’s very possible.
