Who to watch

We won’t see much from the starters in this game, but we will see plenty of action from the second and thrid-stringers. But which three players should we look out for?

Kevin White

Could Kevin White solidify his spot as the fifth cornerback on the roster? Second round pick Jalen Collins has found life tough early on, and White has flashed potential while he’s been on the field. It looks like he could be on those undrafted guys that goes onto not only make the roster, but become a solid player for the Falcons.

Tevin Coleman

Tevin Coleman made a net of two yards from his four carries against the Dolphins, but he was afforded little help from the offensive line. He made one outstanding play though. Poor blocking led to a big hit on Coleman behind the line of scrimmage, but he was able to somehow maintain his balance, spin the defender and turn it into a 6-yard gain. I hope he gets plenty of opportunities this week.

Jalen Collins

With an offseason hit by injuries and struggles in camp, Jalen Collins needs to show what he can do. With Desmond Trufant likely out again, Collins will get a ton of reps with the first and second team defense. This is another opportunity for him to improve.
