Oh, what a horrible week for my NFL picks. With so many upsets, I went 7-9. That puts me at an average 17-15 record for the season. This is going to be the turnaround week for me, let’s hope.

The Atlanta Falcons travel on the road to face the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday, who will be without Tony Romo and Dez Bryant. There are some other interesting games this week, including Detroit-Denver, San Diego-Minnesota and Green Bay-Kansas City. All lines are provided by BOVADA and OddsShark.

Atlanta Falcons (-1.5) at Dallas Cowboys

If the Cowboys were fully healthy, I’d roll with them. But the loss of Tony Romo and Dez Bryant can’t be overlooked. They still have the league’s best offensive line and a strong defense, but the Falcons will do enough to overcome the Brandon Weeden-led Cowboys and remain unbeaten. Dan Quinn’s defense is forcing turnovers and they will do so again on Sunday.

Pick: Atlanta 21, Dallas 17

Washington Redskins at New York Giants (-4.5)

The New York Giants have been in winning positions in each of the past two weeks and come away with absolutely nothing. At some point they have to finish it off and pick up the win. The NFC East is wide open due to a poor start from the Eagles and the banged up Cowboys. It’s ugly, but the Giants take it at home.

Pick: New York 24, Washington 19
