4. New Orleans Saints
Last week: 3

It’s gone from bad to worse for the New Orleans Saints, who dropped to 0-2 after a crushing loss at home to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Just a week after the Buccaneers were squashed by the Titans, they rolled into the Superdome and picked up the victory.

There is a huge concern with Drew Brees. Not just the fact that he could be forced out of action for the time being with a shoulder injury, but more his underwhelming play at quarterback. The yards are still there, but that’s by virtue of throwing the football a lot. But from 86 pass attempts this season, he’s managed just two touchdowns with two interceptions.

The Saints have allowed 760 yards in two games, and this too is concerning. The defense can’t get off the field and doesn’t seem to have made significant improvements. This could be a long season, with a road trip to the 2-0 Panthers up next. A loss and it could be curtains.
