Desmond Trufant is one of the leagues’ best cornerbacks, yet not a lot of people have heard of him. Well, ask Eli Manning. He knows exactly who he is. In week 2, the Manning did not throw a single pass at him the entire game. Trufant has only given up a handful of catches all season long and has five pass deflections. What more could you ask for? Trufant has been able to shut down an entire side of the field which makes the other 10 men’s job a lot easier. In week 4, Trufant recovered two fumbles including a scoop and score touchdown, the first of his career. Keep it up Tru.
