Finally, what will be the outcome for this game and why?

MB: I think the Falcons will win but it will be closer than most think. I’m hearing some people predicting this will be a blowout but I’m not seeing it. I think the Falcons are a good team but they could have easily lost to the Eagles, Cowboys or Giants. So while they’re unbeaten at 4-0, I think they are certainly beatable.

But the Redskins have too many injuries at key positions to pull off the upset. I think the Redskins will hang close early but the Falcons will pull away in the end. It won’t be a blowout but Falcons win 27-20.

I’d like to thank Maurice for taking the time out to speak with us, and here’s hoping his prediction is right. For a Redskins perspective on the game, be sure to head over to Riggo’s Rag.

This will be an intriguing matchup between a team that can run the ball and stop the run, up against a team that is great offensively and rebuilding on defense. Can the Falcons go 5-0? Who would have predicted that in August?
