Win the turnover battle

This is a battle that the Falcons have not been able to win as of late. The Falcons have turned the ball over 12 times in their last four games and as a result have gone 2-2 over that stretch.

If the Falcons can take care of the football and win the turnover battle then this game will be a blowout. Atlanta put up nearly 500 yards of total offense against Tampa Bay, turned the ball over four times, three of which came in Tampa Bay territory and still scored 20 points. Imagine how many points they would have scored if not for the horrid turnovers.

Everyone is quick to say that the Falcons’ offense really isn’t all that great. Well, you’re dead wrong if you think that. Matt Ryan is third in the NFL in passing, Julio Jones leads the league in receiving and Devonta Freeman leads the league in rushing.

Come on now. Take care of the football and good things will happen. I promise.

Rise up!
