Peterson and the excellent Vikings ground game goes up against the No. 1 run defense. What other matchups do you think will be key?

AC: Julio Jones vs. Xavier Rhodes will be a huge one. Rhodes is struggling with penalties this year and Jones has proven himself to be nearly unstoppable this season. He’ll need a lot of help if he hopes to keep the NFL’s leading receiver in check.

But the major battle to watch will be in the trenches, as Minnesota can’t allow themselves to be pushed around on offense or defense the way they were against the Green Bay Packers.

What’s your prediction for this game?

AC: I’ve been going back and forth on this one. I expect that Adrian Peterson will have a better day than people expect, but the Falcons should also be able to pass all over the Vikings defense. Still, I see Minnesota coming back angry from their humiliation last week and coming out with a mean streak. The Vikings eek out a close one, 27-23.
