Atlanta Falcons (6-5) at Tampa Bay Buccaneers (5-6)

Atlanta has a chance to redeem themselves on Sunday. The Buccaneers outmatched the Falcons earlier in the season and left the Georgia Dome with an overtime win. The spotlight is more than likely to be directed at the struggling Falcons offense, crippled by turnovers.

It was unable to take advantage consistently of the average Tampa Bay defense, especially in overtime. The defense played rather well, and continues to play at a satisfying level. A little help from the Falcons offense would do wonders for his impact. Devonta Freeman’s return could provide this needed spark on Sunday.

Pick: Atlanta 27, Tampa Bay 23

Carolina Panthers (11-0) at New Orleans Saints (4-7)

Carolina keeps playing at a high level week after week and still sits undefeated at the top of the division. New Orleans’ offense struggled immensely against Houston’s great defense last week. The same scenario is expected against the Panthers. If Drew Brees can’t find his rhythm, it will be another gift-wrapped win for Cam Newton and the strong running attack.

Pick: Carolina 31, New Orleans 10

Last week: 3-1
Season: 25-14

Next: Eric Robinson
