Steve Bartkowski played for the Atlanta Falcons from 1975 to 1985 and is second in franchise history in passing yards with 23,470 yards and 154 touchdowns. Bartkowski was a 2-time pro bowl recipient in 1980 and 1981 and had his best season in Atlanta in 1981.

Bartkowski threw for a career high 3,544 yard and a career high 31 touchdown passes. While he will always be thought of as one of the best if not the best quarterback in franchise history, his 55-66 record just wasn’t quite good enough to propel him into the top-2.
