Robert Alford played a horrible game against the Carolina Panthers. There is no denying that. While the exact numbers are unknown at this time, Alford gave up roughly 150 yards and two touchdowns including a 77-yard score to Ted Ginn.
To add to that, Alford was called for several flags on the day including defensive holding and pass interference. The way he played was quite embarrassing to say the least but we should have seen it coming. Alford is a loose cannon. When it rains, it pours.
