Shayne Graham looks to be the Atlanta Falcons’ kicker for the remainder of the season after 40-year-old Matt Bryant was placed on season-ending injured reserve with a right quad injury. Graham will look to continue his great start to life in Atlanta against Carolina.

Despite having a number of players on the injury report, including the likes of tight end Greg Olsen and running back Jonathan Stewart, most were simply rested for Wednesday’s practice and were not out for injury-related reasons.
This is a must-win game for the Atlanta Falcons. Lose, and they slip to 6-7 and potentially two games behind the Seattle Seahawks (assuming Seattle beats Baltimore). A win would put them no worse than game behind Seattle, and they would also be within a game of Minnesota, who lost on Thursday night to Arizona.
