Were the Atlanta Falcons a team that you wanted to go to from the jump?

Sanu: Yeah I really liked the coaching staff as a whole when I got to meet everyone. And was really excited to play with a great QB like Matty ice who is very accurate passer, really cool guy and tremendous leader.

Sanu recently met up with a reported 26 other players in Miami to work on some throwing drills and Matt Ryan was the player who set the whole thing up.

Sanu: He (Ryan) is Just a very fun guy to be around with a very intense competitive edge to him.

No disrespect to Andy Dalton, who was Sanu’s quarterback for four years in Cincinnati, but playing with a Ryan should be a lot more fun for Sanu. Dalton is known more as a game manager rather than a quarterback who can lead a team to victory and Ryan definitely fits that mold. His nickname is Matt ice for crying out loud.

I’m sure it was great for Sanu to get to meet up with his teammates so early into his career with the Falcons and get a chance to hangout with them. Team moral is a very important part of having a successful team. Not only do you need to have good players, but you need to enjoy playing with one another and I’m sure Sanu will love it here in Atlanta.
