Jacob Tamme had his best-ever season in the NFL with the Falcons in 2015 but will he be able to follow that up with an even better one in 2016? Probably not. And that’s not because he isn’t good enough. It’s because a man by the name of Austin Hooper is ready to come right in as a rookie and contribute at a high level.

Hooper may just turn out to be one of the steals of the 2016 draft. The Falcons got a ton of potential and skill out of their third-round pick and just might have finally given Matt Ryan his tight end weapon back.

Ryan was so good when he had Tony Gonzalez manning the position and hasn’t been nearly as good without him. Atlanta just hasn’t had a ton of talent out of the tight end position in the last two years and that will hopefully change with Hooper in town.
