3. Mark Ingram

2015 stats: 769 rushing yards, six touchdowns

Like Stewart, injuries have also been a concern for Mark Ingram throughout his career. In five years, he’s completed all 16 games in the regular season just once. Last year, Ingram missed four games, but still managed to finish with a respectable 769 rushing yards and six touchdowns.

His average of 4.6 yards per carry was good for second best in his career, earning his yards on 166 carries. The Saints like to throw the football often and can turn away from their ground game, but Ingram still plays an important role offensively in New Orleans.

Ingram’s injuries have left him frustrated, but he still believes he’s one of the best backs in the league, as he said at Saints minicamp.

"“It makes me real hungry,” Ingram told reporters. “I was very disappointed last year when I couldn’t finish the year. We weren’t having a great year as a team, but I think individually, I was having my best year as a professional, so it makes me want to get back out there and just pick up where I left off.”"

If he stays healthy, the Saints can be strong on the ground.
