2. Green Bay Packers

Aaron Rodgers carried his team into the playoffs and almost took them further than anyone thought they would go while throwing to the likes of Jeff Janis. That is not knock on Janis but an indication of how good and dominate of a QB that Rodgers truly is.

He will also have many of his weapons back this season a healthy Jordy Nelson, a lighter Eddie Lacy and an improved defense. The Packers are a very good team no doubt with Rodgers under center and assuming that their playmakers remain healthy this game could be a shootout between two very solid looking offensive units.

Another thing to consider is the fact that while Lacy can hurt you when he is at his best, James Starks is a solid running back in his own right and gives the Packers one of the best 1-2 punches in the league.

To win this game the Falcons’ defense will have to be able to make a play or two and Julio Jones and Matt Ryan will have to go to work on the Packers secondary much like they have in years past.
