2) Akeem King, CB

We are inching ever so closer to the start of the NFL regular season. And when it comes to the Atlanta Falcons, second-year cornerback Akeem King will be a name that you hear a lot.

With Jalen Collins set to serve a 4-game suspension to start the season, King is expected to see a lot of playing time. So it’s time to give less snaps to Collins and more to King so that we can better evaluate what he brings to the table.

We got a very small sample size of what he can bring last season, but this will be a completely new test for him. The Falcons will face three pass happy offenses to start the season. Tampa Bay, Oakland and New Orleans all like to throw the ball around which will mean a lot of work for King.

Can he handle it? Who knows. But the Falcons will be relying on him regardless. He can either make-or-break his season in these first four games. If he makes it out alive, King could wind up playing a lot more after Collins is back then expected.
