5. QB Matt Ryan

Matt Ryan was able to put up a decent amount of points in a shootout against the New Orleans Saints last week, and he has the chance to do it again this week against a depleted secondary. The Panthers’ no. 1 cornerback from 2015 was let go after a deal couldn’t be reached in the offseason, and now the defensive back group is led by corner Bene Benwikere and safety Kurt Coleman. Ryan has the opportunity to take over the game with a strong receiver group and a sad secondary.
