Peter Konz was drafted to become the anchor of Atlanta’s offensive line when Todd McClure retired. Instead, his career with the Falcons was ruined by injuries and overall ineffectiveness. Selected in the second round of the 2012 NFL Draft, Konz emerged from Wisconsin with a reputation as a tough, ill-tempered center that would fortify the trenches for years to come. That was not to be the case. Atlanta reached an injury settlement with Konz in 2015.
