#1 – vs. Packers, NFC Championship

Aaron Rodgers had just worked his magic against the Dallas Cowboys and his “Run the Table” mantra seemed to be reality. However, the Falcons defense shut down the so-called “King of the Hail Mary” and allowed no points until the third quarter. Also, Julio Jones was his usual self, making children out of the Green Bay defense and putting up 180 receiving yards and two touchdowns.

This win sent the Falcons to the Super Bowl, defining the season as more than just something for Atlanta fans to remember. This silenced the doubters and made everyone believe in the ability and potential of Matt Ryan and the rest of the Atlanta Falcons.

Even though the Falcons couldn’t win the Super Bowl, this season was still amazing and there are several great moments to smile back on.
