Gary Barnidge, Tight End

As a result of Jacob Tamme most likely not returning for the 2017 season, Gary Barnidge, an amazing blocking tight end, could be a great pick-up option for the Falcons. The thought of Barnidge being a free agent is still a shocker. According to Pro Football Focus, Gary Barnidge was #1 for all tight ends in pass blocking efficiency, as well as having the highest pass blocking grade. Austin Hooper is a pass catching tight end, therefore, Atlanta could look to trade away Toilolo for a 4th round draft pick, and sign Barnidge to a relatively small contract for blocking purposes.
