47. . Quarterback. New England Patriots. Tom Brady. 1. player

This isn’t meant to bring up any still open wounds, but the last time the Atlanta Falcons had to face the New England Patriots and their unbelievably talented quarterback Tom Brady, things got ugly. Of course it didn’t start that was as the Falcons were all over New England on both sides of the ball as they jumped out to a huge lead.

The defense was flying all over and defensive tackle Grady Jarrett was on his way to becoming a Super Bowl legend. The second-year tackle — and son of former Atlanta linebacker Jessie Tuggle — recorded three sacks on Brady before the 39-year old quarterback found his rhythm. We all know what happened next as it was the greatest comeback in Super Bowl history and was also the first ever overtime game in the bowl as well.

Now in Week 7 the Falcons will have their shot at revenge. In order to capitalize on that, they need to be on their game. Brady may have just turned 40, but that’s no reason to take him lightly. He also has more weapons like former New Orleans Saints receiver Brandin Cooks, who Atlanta is very familiar with.

It wouldn’t be back breaking to drop this game, but it could be a huge leap forward in the Falcons’ 2017 season.
