The Atlanta Falcons (1-0) host the Green Bay Packers (1-0) in Week 2 NFL action. Stick with us for all the live updates of the big Sunday Night Football game

It’s the same team that the Atlanta Falcons closed out the Georgia Dome against as the Green Bay Packers come back to town. This time they’re officially opening up the Mercedes-Benz Stadium for the regular season, and it all unfolds on Sunday Night Football.

Your Falcons take center stage in the mist visible game of the week, and they hope to have a similar outcome that they had when they beat the Packers 44-21 in the NFC Championship game back in January.

It may not be so easy this time though as the Packers are fully healthy and ready to roll. The Falcons though are no pushovers. They feature a lightning-fast defense and a high-powered offense led by 2016 NFL MVP Matt Ryan at quarterback.

Look for Ryan to try and get the ball to receiver Julio Jones early and often, and for the Falcons to just get the running game going with anyone after it was a weak spot in their opening weekend win over the Chicago Bears.

Green Bay likely doesn’t worry too much about establishing the run game. This team features a converted wide out in Ty Montgomery at running back and is built to win on the arm of quarterback Aaron Rodgers.

There could be fireworks in this one as two lightning-fast offenses face off in a closed-roof stadium. Stick with us here at Blogging Dirty for all the action as we will update throughout the game with highlights and scores. Also feel free to get the discussion going in the comment section with your fellow Falcon fans.
