Julio Jones will play on Sunday
Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Julio Jones will play on Sunday against the Dallas Cowboys.
Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Julio Jones returned to practice on Friday after missing the previous two days with an ankle injury. The Falcons reported that he will play this Sunday against the Dallas Cowboys.
This injury was sustained in the Falcons Week 9 loss to the Carolina Panthers. Despite the pain, Jones hauled in six receptions for 118-yards. Jones dropped a go-ahead touchdown in the fourth quarter and some wonder if his ankle played a role in dropping a pass that he would otherwise make 99.9% of the time.

Atlanta has been the recipient of good news twice in the past 24 hours. Yesterday, it was reported that Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott would not play vs Atlanta due to his suspension. He will miss at least four games for the Cowboys. Atlanta received the icing on the cake with the news of Jones returning to practice and his confirmed availability for Week 10.
The Falcons need to remain healthy as they prepare for a much-needed win against the Cowboys. Atlanta currently stands at 4-4 after starting the season with a 3-0 record. This Sunday will ultimately determine the team’s fate for the rest of the season. The Falcons will take on the Seahawks in Week 11.
Jones should provide a challenge for the Dallas secondary. In the Falcons previous meeting against the Cowboys in September 2015, Jones went off for 12 receptions for 164-yards and two touchdowns. If history repeats itself, Jones should have himself a huge game against the Cowboys.

According to Jon Machota of The Dallas Morning News, Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant will also suit up this weekend after dealing with a knee and ankle injury.
