Atlanta Falcons vs Saints Week 16 Injury Report: Tevin Coleman in, Levitre questionable
Atlanta Falcons running back Tevin Coleman will play vs the Saints on Sunday after missing time a concussion. Andy Levitre is still questionable.
The Atlanta Falcons are coming off of a nail biter in Tampa Bay in Week 15 as they edged the Buccaneers 24-21 to improve to 9-5. Atlanta is one more win from a playoff berth but the team is looking for bigger aspirations as winning their last two game against division rivals Saints and Panthers will crown them as NFC South champions for a consecutive year. Who will and will not play for both the Falcons and Saints will be x-factors in who comes out with the crucial win.
Yesterday, running back Tevin Coleman was cleared from concussion protocol and is set to play vs the Saints in New Orleans on Sunday. Coleman participated in full practice on Friday. He was out for two games as he sustained a concussion two weeks ago in the Falcons’ first win vs the Saints in 2017 in Atlanta .
Wide receiver Julio Jones has been limited in practice over the past two weeks but has missed no action. Heading into New Orleans, Jones has been limited this week with an ankle and thumb injury but again, is not expected to be out.
Guard Andy Levitre is questionable for his return to the Falcons this week as he has been limited with a triceps injury. He was limited in practice on Friday.
Wide receiver Mohamad Sanu has been dealing with a minor knee injury that limited him in practice last week but did not prevent him from missing the game in Tampa Bay. He participated in full practice on Friday and is set to suit up vs the Saints.
For the Saints, defensive end Trey Hendrickson will be out vs the Falcons with a knee injury. Tight end Garrett Griffin will be out with a foot injury, and fellow tight end Michael Hoomanawanui is out with a concussion.

New Orleans is in jeopardy of losing three tight ends vs Atlanta as Josh Hill was limited in practice. The injuries to the Saints’ offensive line has also been dismal as guards Selio Kelemete, Larry Warford and Andrus Peat were also limited in practice.
