Robert Alford was one of four cornerbacks to record 20 plus pass deflections in 2017, however, he only recorded one interception. As part of a talented duo with Desmond Trufant, Alford has yet to have a breakout season, we all expect him to have. He has the talent and gets targeted enough to do so. I see Alford turning more pass deflections into interceptions in 2018, especially with the Falcons expected to play more 3 safety looks which will allow him to jump more routes.
