The Atlanta Falcons had a difficult schedule to start the season, playing eight teams that, at the halfway point of the season, currently have a combined record of 41-28-1. Unfortunately for the Falcons, the schedule doesn’t get any easier during the second half of the season.

After not playing a single divisional game during the first half of the season, six of the Atlanta Falcons eight remaining games be against NFC South foes the Carolina Panthers, the New Orleans Saints and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Outside of the divisional matchups, the Atlanta Falcons will travel to San Francisco to take on the surprising San Francisco 49ers and they will host the Jacksonville Jaguars who recently just announced that Super Bowl MVP Nick Foles will be back in the starting line-up after missing some time with a shoulder injury.

With the way this team has played this year, they could very easily lose every single game and to be honest, they definitely should lose every game. There is a lot of defensive talent like Ohio State’s Chase Young that will be in the 2020 NFL Draft that the Atlanta Falcons can’t afford to miss out on.

However, this is the Atlanta Falcons and they have quite the history of messing up and doing the wrong thing. Just last season they finished the year on a three-game win streak that saw them win meaningless games that pushed them back in the draft.

There are winnable games on the schedule remaining again this year, so don’t be surprised if the team finishes the season with at least three more wins to their record.
