Atlanta Falcons owner Arthur Blank has allowed the team to be terrible.

The Atlanta Falcons have ascended to new heights under the ownership of Arthur Blank. From a football standpoint, Blank has everything you would want in an owner. The one trait that he has that has doomed this team is his patience and we are seeing it right before our very eyes.

The Atlanta Falcons have started this season 0-5  which is inexcusable with all the talent on this team. What makes it more inexcusable is the fact this 0-5 start takes place after starting last season 1-7.

Most owners would have gotten rid of Dan Quinn by now, but Blank hasn’t and it’s ruining the team.

Atlanta Falcons worst start in more than 20 years.

There is no problem with having faith that your head coach can fix the issues on the field but how long should Quinn have to fix those problems? He’s already had two back to back 7-9 seasons. The fact that Quinn waited until midway through last season to make adjustments contributed to the Falcons missing the playoffs last season should have been addressed this offseason.

In just five games, the Atlanta Falcons have found every possible way to lose a game. Fourth-quarter comebacks, terrible situational coaching, and now players finding ways to not execute. However, Blank has chosen to allow his threats to become nothing more than hollow words and we are seeing that play out on the field.

If we’re being honest, Quinn should have been fired after the humiliating loss to the Cowboys. Dan Quinn should not have the opportunity to fix this mess and make adjustments because he was supposed to do that last season or hell even during the offseason. Maybe Blank is giving him a longer leash because of the absence of the preseason, but who knows.

Next. Falcons continue to frustrate and flounder. dark

While it’s easy to point the fingers at the coaching staff, the GM, and the players on the field, Arthur Blank deserves just as much blame as everyone else. While patience is a good thing to have, too much of it could be a bad thing, and the Falcons and living it right now.
