The Atlanta Falcons win their first game in new black jerseys

The Atlanta Falcons 2020 season has been an emotional roller coaster.

They have had many up and down moments but find themselves at a 4-7 record. If a few plays went differently the Atlanta Falcons would be 7-4 or even 8-3.

On Sunday, the Atlanta Falcons dominated the Las Vegas Raiders winning 43-6 which no one saw coming. The Raiders entered the game 6-4 and went toe to toe with the Kansas City Chiefs who are one of the elite teams in the NFL just a week earlier.

A milestone happened for the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday; they got their first win wearing the new black jerseys. As shocking as that is, the Falcons were wearing white jerseys in their previous three wins.

They have worn their new black jerseys five times this season.

They wore their new black jerseys against the Seahawks, Cowboys, Bears, Panthers, and Raiders – and their only win in the black jerseys came against the Raiders.

Unfortunately for the Atlanta Falcons starting 0-5 and wearing the black jerseys in four of those five games leaves a bad taste about the jerseys. Some people believe jerseys bring good or bad luck but looking at the Atlanta Falcons there was never bad luck with the jerseys, they just had Dan Quinn as their head coach.

There are still five games left on the season for the Atlanta Falcons.

According to their uniform schedule, they are only wearing the black jerseys one more time this season in Week 15 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. They are wearing white jerseys against the Chargers, Chiefs, and second game against the Buccaneers.

As we crept closer to the jersey release this past offseason, many fans to wanted the Atlanta Falcons to have their throwback jersey as the permanent jersey.

Luckily for those fans, they get to see the throwback jerseys this week in the second matchup against the Saints at home. Since the Falcons are wearing the throwback jerseys expect them to win big against the Saints.
