4. Just keeping losing

This may be a weird one to think about, but the truth is simple: The Atlanta Falcons stand nothing to gain by winning games.

The Falcons have two games remaining against two playoff teams- the Kansas City Chiefs and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Both games are on the road.

If Atlanta loses out, they’ll finish the season with a 4-12 record and would be almost a guaranteed lock for a top-five spot. If the Falcons wreck it by winning one of their final two games, though, they could fall as low as the bottom of the top-10.
