2) Deion Jones – 2016

Round 2, Pick 52

Keanu Neal and Deion Jones were the two rookies who led the Falcons to their second super bowl in their history.

Nobody expected the type of career Jones has had thus far. He is the best playmaking linebacker in the NFL. Any team could have used him, but ultimately the Falcons are the ones who took the chance and get the reward.

This was an excellent pick for Dan Quinn. He knew he wanted his defense to be fast, which was the exact reasoning for taking Debo in the second round. He was one of the biggest steals in the draft.

Perhaps nothing sums up Debo’s play better than the fact that he is on the brink of history when looking at his interceptions for touchdowns in NFL history.
