3. Zach Ertz

Zach Ertz has had some great seasons in a Philly uniform before falling off the map last season. Coming into the year it seemed Ertz was going to follow his former quarterback Carson Wentz and find his way out of Philly.

It is the first week of the season and it seems Ertz and the Eagles have patched up their differences and Ertz is headed into what he hopes is a bounce-back season. Week one is a large concern for Atlanta based on the matchup.

Who on the Atlanta roster matches up well against Ertz? It is hard to find any matchup an Atlanta fan is going to feel confident in going against one of the better tight ends they will face this season.

Ertz is one of the very few true weapons remaining on this Eagles team. He is certainly the only established weapon with the Eagles receivers all being unproven and living on their potential. Ertz is the only known threat and will get plenty of attention from the Falcons because of it.

Overall this is an Eagles team who is headed into the season with a lot of unproven weapons and a quarterback in Jalen Hurts even the Eagles seem unsure of. All great signs for an Atlanta team with a chance to steal a win in week one.
