3. Younghoe Koo

Among the laundry list of Atlanta Falcons problems, there is one thing you won’t find, kicker issues. Koo hit both of his chances on Sunday and neither was close to missing the mark. Koo is an elite kicker who Atlanta can count on if they manage to give him any high-pressure situations.

The league never fails to produce kicker issues and week one was no exception. Starting with last Thursday’s kick-off game Dallas arguably lost the game due to kicker issues.

Perhaps it is the only issue Atlanta doesn’t have but a reliable kicker is an asset one Atlanta hopes to utilize in meaningful games at some point in his career.

Koo gave Atlanta hope early in the game drawing Atlanta close though they still trailed 7-6. Koo was the only Atlanta player to score on Sunday and certainly is one of their few building blocks for the future.

If Atlanta chooses to trade their veterans and fully rebuild Koo should be one of the few remaining players on the roster. Good kickers are hard to find and Atlanta has one of the best in Younghoe.

Overall there was little to come away feeling good about in this one, a game that Atlanta and their fans are all too ready to forget.
