4) Matt Ryan (QB)

It certainly has not gone to plan for Matt Ryan and the Atlanta Falcons, but Matt has shown the heart of a quarterback who can win a lot of games.

It is far from his fault that Atlanta came up short of beating the Super Bowl champions. While he had one bad throw that resulted in a pick-six, he took over after the first quarter and was the sole reason the Falcons came within three points.

He put everything he had into that game, a week after being simply abused by the Philadelphia Eagles because of the Falcon’s inability to block.

Matt Ryan was able to evade Bucs players and throw dimes in the week two game. His stats did not look good but they do not show everything he did in that game that even gave his team a chance to win.

It was an underrated performance that is overshadowed by unfortunate interceptions due to bad blocking and a loss for the Falcons.
