2.  Younghoe Koo should have been given one more kick in this game

Younghoe Koo nailed his one field goal attempt and every extra point he was given a chance to kick.  Forced into action as a punter Koo wasn’t impressive but got the job done and made Washington drive the field on his second punt attempt.

Interestingly enough in this game, Atlanta’s game management wound up putting them out of position from giving Koo a kick to win or tie. If Atlanta coaching is better Koo gets a chance to tie this game instead of the prayer Ryan had to throw into the endzone in the final seconds.

Koo is a kicker being wasted in Atlanta, capable of making game-winning kicks just as he did against the Giants. Sunday was a reminder among Atlanta’s seemingly endless list of problems kicker isn’t among them.

Koo is a player Atlanta can trust if they ever happen to find themselves in a position to win a game.  A rare occurrence that is unlikely to happen anytime soon unless they manage to beat the Jets in London next week.

Younghoe Koo is one of the few untouchable players on the Atlanta roster. A great kicker the Falcons need to keep as they rebuild what is becoming a sad franchise.
