The trend continues of the Atlanta Falcons finding a way to lose despite Matt Ryan doing everything he can to win, it is ridiculous.

No quarterback in NFL history has had the kind of bad luck that Ryan has had over the course of a career, especially during the past five seasons he has played. All he does is stay healthy, make plays, and get disrespected by Falcons fans and NFL fans in general.

During Sunday’s game against the Washington Football Team, Matt Ryan finished the day with 283 passing yards, 4 passing touchdowns, 0 interceptions, and somehow only took one sack despite being pressured all game. What else could he possibly do? He also had numerous throws that were dropped by the underwhelming receivers for the Falcons.

It is a trend that continues for the franchise quarterback, he will likely never ask to leave, but he should want out. The amount of disrespect he gets from the unknowledgeable fans is insane, and he has been on teams that do not help him out by any stretch of the imagination.

Has he been perfect this year? Absolutely not, but the common theme among the whole team has been how imperfect they are.

Matt Ryan has been running for his life, he has been one of the more pressured quarterbacks in the league. He may have thrown three interceptions against the Buccaneers, but only one of them lands on his shoulders—even then, it could still be blamed on the pressure he had been under all game.

Long story, short, Matt Ryan should want out of Atlanta, here are six possible destinations:

Green Bay Packers

If the Atlanta Falcons decide they want to put Matt Ryan in the best possible place to succeed, this might be just the place.

It may seem like a longshot, and truthfully it probably is, but let’s say that the Packers are not totally convinced that Jordan Love is ready to take over in the 2022 season, or is simply not a franchise quarterback,—which is something that they would probably never admit—Matt Ryan could be the perfect fit to take over for Aaron Rodgers who will likely be traded after this season.

Think about who Green Bay’s head coach is—Matt LaFleur. The same Matt LaFleur that helped Matty Ice win the MVP award in 2016, no one knows the ability of the current Falcons quarterback better than LaFleur.

Not only would it benefit the Packers in having another veteran quarterback to help out Jordan Love’s development—provided they can afford to let him sit another couple of years—but Matt would also get a much better chance at finally winning a Super Bowl than he has in Atlanta.

This would be the best-case scenario for the Falcons quarterback, however, the probability that the Packers would let Jordan Love sit another few years is extremely low as they would be forced into giving him another contract despite not being a starter.
